Annie L. Nguyentat, DPM

Dr. Nguyentat is a Podiatrist with interest in Lower Extemity Sports Medicine, Foot & Ankle Trauma and Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Annie Nguyentat is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon who joined Roseville Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in 2015. She provides comprehensive care of the foot and ankle and enjoys helping people stay active. She approaches foot and ankle pathology by identifying the underlying cause in order to explain the diagnosis and treatment to her patients. She enjoys interacting with patients and is dedicated to patient care.

Dr. Nguyentat grew up in Carmichael, CA. She attended Mira Loma High School for the International Baccalaureate Program and lettered in three varsity sports (Soccer, Basketball, Track & Field). She continued her basketball career at Claremont McKenna College where she earned a B.A. in Neuroscience and completed a senior thesis on gait stability in the elderly using noise perturbations. It was her senior thesis and familiarity with foot and ankle sports injuries that lead her to a career in podiatric medicine.  She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA and completed her surgical residency at the Kaiser San Francisco Bay Area Foot & Ankle Residency Program (Kaiser Oakland, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, and Antioch Medical Centers) where she was selected Chief Resident during her final year of residency and was also given the opportunity to travel to Vietnam for a medical mission. 

Dr. Nguyentat then completed further specialty training at the Silicon Valley Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgical Fellowship in Mountain View, CA. This fellowship focused on innovative and minimally invasive surgical techniques, sports medicine, trauma, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. She is currently Board Certified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery with the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. 

Dr. Nguyentat is the current Vice President of the Sacramento Valley Podiatric Medical Society, she is a member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, California Podiatric Medical Association, and American Podiatric Medical Association. 

Dr. Nguyentat enjoys playing the guitar and spends the rest of her free time enjoying yoga, hiking, skiing, traveling, and most outdoor sports. She enjoys being physically active and therefore understands the importance of keeping her patients moving and active!
